Using Reference Manager with CSA:
After you have saved your citations, from the Reference Manager Import Filters page, select the appropriate CSA filter by right clicking on the FTP link and selecting Save Target As. For the file type, make sure it is saved as a .cap document. Save the file in your WinRM8\capture directory. By using your file management software (Windows Explorer, File Manager, etc) you can move the file from the default directory into the RM directory. Once you have the filter in place, open a database and select Import Text File from the Reference menu. Choose the CSA-IDS.cap filter and the CSA file you downloaded. Click Import and the citations will transfer to your database.
* The CSA-IDS.cap filter is already included in version 9 of Reference Manager and therefore will not require you to download it.
The most up to date filters may be downloaded from the Reference Manager website at http://www.refman.com/support/rmfilters.asp.
